Naseej was established in the Fall of 2005 and is managed by the Save
the Children in Amman, Jordan in partnership with a Regional Advisory
Committee
-
The programme was established with Ford Foundation funding as part of

community youth development work as Ford phases out its work in this
field. (See Ford Foundation MENA Regional Office, p. 20)
-
The programme operates in five countries as listed above; in Egypt and
Palestine (West Bank and Gaza Strip (including East Jerusalem)) priority
will be given to supporting organisations with which the Ford Foundation
has previously partnered on community youth development initiatives
-
Outside the grant activities, Naseej will reach youth and youth
organisations all over the Arab World |
